Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. We ask six things: gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term. That's all we need to fetch rates from carriers. Your name, address, and medical history stay private unless you apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates carriers quote for your chosen health class. The carrier may confirm, improve, or adjust your class during underwriting, which can change your final premium. Nothing here is an insurance offer or a price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and we build the application from your chosen quote. It continues on the carriers' secure platform where you can pause and pick it up later. You sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (California License 0B75129) manages the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by carrier, amount, and your info. Some carriers offer instant decisions for qualifying applicants; each quote tells you if an exam is needed, maybe needed, or not needed.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term that covers the years your family would struggle without your income: while a mortgage is unpaid, kids are at home, or a business loan is active. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but lock in your rate longer. Our tool compares all five lengths at once.
Does this site sell my information?
Correct. Quotes don't require contact info, we never sell or share your data, and our measurement uses no cookies. Check our privacy page for the full picture of what we collect and who sees it.
