No-exam life insurance
Discover who qualifies for rapid approval, what the process looks like, and what happens if you don't qualify for it.
Many carriers now use fast-track underwriting. For applicants in set age and amount ranges, they reach a decision by reviewing your application, Rx history, driving record, and other records instead of ordering an exam. Approvals can come back within hours. Every quote here tells you whether a physical exam is required, might be required, or is not needed.
What it changes
Fast-track underwriting still means your answers are checked. A policy issued based on wrong information can be contested for the first two years. If a carrier's records turn up something concerning, they may request an exam or labs anyway; you can decide then whether to go forward.
Who tends to qualify
Applicants below age 60, requesting amounts within the carrier's rapid-decision limit, with no serious health history and no tobacco in the past year or longer often qualify. If your doctor recently ran blood tests, some carriers take those instead of ordering an exam.
If required, an exam typically lasts 20 to 30 minutes with a paramedic who visits your home or workplace in the Jurupa Valley area, at no cost to you. When applicants have clean health histories, exam results sometimes bump them into a better rate, so an exam can be positive news.
